From 2015 to 2021, Lars Dellbrügge studied law in Bochum and Münster; he completed his legal traineeship (Rechtsreferendariat) from 2022 to 2024 at the Regional Court of Münster. He also gained formative practical experience in public administration, particularly in the field of municipal administration. To this day, this work gives him a well-founded understanding of official decision-making processes and the practical workings of the administration.

“No legal system in the world is perfect. That is why laws and regulations are constantly being improved and adapted to changing life circumstances. However complicated German law may appear to outsiders, it offers us many opportunities to defend the freedoms of the individual and to represent the interests of our clients on an equal footing with the opposing party – whether in a civil dispute with private individuals, companies, or insurers, or in a conflict with public authorities.
Our rule of law guarantees everyone the right to effective legal protection: those who have justified claims should be able to enforce them – and those who are wrongly pursued deserve determined representation. In administrative law, we furthermore see our work as a necessary corrective to official decisions. Because there is one thing I have learned, not least in my own work at the administrative level: mistakes are also made within administrations. That is only human – but it must not be at the expense of citizens.
It is therefore our aspiration to represent the interests of our clients emphatically, to pursue their goals with dedication, and in this way to contribute to just solutions and to strengthening trust in the rule of law.”
